house moving webNeed to Sell a Home to Move to Senior Living?
You made the decision to move to senior living. For some this would seem like a daunting task – and it can be. But there is help available so that the transition can be smooth and relatively stress free. I can help you sell your home, guide you through the process and connect you with the resources that you will need to make your move successful.
Checklist. There are innumerable things to consider when you move. I provide a checklist to help make sure nothing is missed when you make your move.

Renovations. Sometimes you need to make improvements or fixes to your current home. I have the personnel who can make needed changes to get your home ready for sale.

Downsizing. You have accumulated a lot in your home over the years. Now is the time to downsize. We aid you in determining what will move with you and what will not. We can arrange to remove those items that will not go with you to your new home.

Staging. We know what prospective home buyers like to see when checking out a home. We will arrange items in your home so that your home looks its best.

When your current home is ready for sale, the next step is your move to your new home. I work with several services that help seniors identify the items that they need to take with them and then the remaining items are given to family, friends or donated. Additionally, there are services that pack up and move your personal effects to the new home and even unpack and decorate. I will help you get ready for your move and be there every step of the way as you transition from one home to the next. Elissa Clausnitzer has been a real estate professional since 1979.
