The Lehigh County Office of Veterans Affairs directly assists veterans, their families, and survivors to obtain the federal, state, and county benefits for which they are eligible as a consequence of military service. We counsel and assist in preparing and submitting claims and applications for benefits such as: service-connected disabilities, pensions and gratuities, emergency financial assistance, and burials. We act as a veteran’s representative to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and its various offices such as the Benefits Administration and the Board of Veterans Appeals, and departments and commissions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Lehigh County.
